How it works

  2. Scan the large non-empty lines count, active order, totals, blanks, words, read time, and first line after sort.
  3. Check Quick peek when order shifts, read What this means, then Copy sorted lines.

What each metric means

  • Non-empty lines — rows with visible text after trim; these participate in A→Z / Z→A.
  • Blank rows (bottom) — empty lines kept in the file but grouped after sorted content.
  • First line after sort — quick sanity check for the new top item.
  • Words / read time — whole-paste signal; pair with Line counter for row audits.
