How it works

Privacy: QR generation uses JavaScript on your device. We do not receive the text you encode for this step. Optional third-party scripts (for example analytics) may still load per site configuration; the encoder itself stays local.

FAQ

  • Does this send my URL to your servers? No. The matrix is built locally; a small open-source encoder script loads from this site like the rest of the toolkit.
  • Why change error correction? Outdoor prints, stickers, and low-contrast ink benefit from H or Q. Screen-only use and long URLs often stick with M or L.
  • Can I use the PNG commercially? Yes—the file is yours. Follow your brand rules for any logo you place beside the code; the QR pattern itself is standard.
  • What if the code will not generate? The payload may be too long for the chosen correction level. Shorten the text, use a shorter URL, or switch from H toward L.
  • Mobile friendly? Yes—controls stack first; preview and download follow on narrow viewports.
