How it works

  1. Paste one name or item per line (or use commas).
  2. Set number of teams-it caps at your roster size so you never get empty ghost teams.
  3. Click Split into teams: Fisher-Yates shuffle, then round-robin dealing into teams.
  4. Copy teams into Slack, email, or a doc; edit the roster and run again anytime.

FAQ

  • Why did my team count change? You can’t have more teams than people-we clamp to roster size and show the effective count in the result.
  • Are team sizes perfectly equal? When headcount doesn’t divide evenly, sizes differ by at most one-we show the min/max range under Balance.
  • Regulated drafts? This is a casual browser helper, not a certified draft or lottery system.
