Generate random English sentences

Set count (up to 30). Turn on Unique until pool refreshes to use each template once before anything repeats. Tap Generate sentences, then Copy results or export. No signup; works in your browser. More than one line? Copy leaves a blank line between sentences. These are generic samples—not something to pass off as your own finished writing.

Your sentences

Unique until pool refreshes avoids repeats until every template has been used once, then the pool refills. Generating again replaces the panel—copy first if you want to keep it. Try a small count for prompts, a larger one to test layout height.

Sentence templates ship with the page—nothing is uploaded when you generate.

Example sentence:

The train arrived ten minutes early, which surprised everyone on the platform.

Your result: the big line is the first sentence; batches add a list below. Copy results and exports keep a blank line between sentences when you asked for more than one.

Sentence output format

Each item is one full sentence. The first line shows word count and a rough read time at 200 wpm; more lines add a scrollable list.

Copy results and exports add a blank line between sentences so they don’t run together.

Example output

The train arrived ten minutes early, which surprised everyone on the platform.

She saved the document twice before closing the laptop.

Examples only—your run will pull other lines. Not licensed prose when attribution matters.

How sentences are generated

It samples a built-in list with Math.random(). Unique until pool refreshes uses each template once, then refills the pool so long batches can finish.

Quick answers

  • Cryptographic random? No—Math.random() only.
  • Upload? No.
  • CSV/Excel? One sentence per row after blank lines are split.
  • Templates ship with the page
  • Math.random() picks the next line
  • Unique mode cuts repeats—not crypto-grade shuffling

What this is for

Filler for comps, teaching, or “does this layout survive real words?” tests.

  • Card and CMS mocks
  • Neutral tone on purpose
  • Unique mode when repeats would look sloppy

When quick sample sentences beat a blank page

You need believable sentence length without writing copy from scratch. One click fills the panel; stats focus on the first line.

How it works

  1. Set Count (1–30) and optional Unique until pool refreshes.
  2. Click Generate sentences.
  3. Read the panel: large first line, list when count > 1, short note, then Next links.
  4. Copy results or Save results as. Reset results brings back the starter example.

Privacy: Generation stays in your browser—we don’t get your settings or text.
